For my degree thesis I have developed a study about hybrid societies, culture and architecture. By looking at this specific case, I wanted to prove how practicing  a hybrid architecture, not just from a visual/construction stand point (by mixing the local features and the 'standard' international style) but also from a racial (natives and colonizers) and economical perspective (poor, middle and rich classes), helped the pre and post-independent Angola to advance towards a socially and economically balanced society.
